​Complete your American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver CPR AED Skills Testing in San Antonio with Help-A-Heart CPR, LLC. Our hands-on skills session is designed for students who have successfully completed the Heartsaver CPR AED Online course and need to finish the required in-person skills evaluation to earn their official AHA course completion card.
Help-A-Heart CPR offers a comprehensive online course designed to teach students all the information they need to be able to understand how to do CPR and use the AED properly. Upon successful completion of the skills evaluation, you will receive your official AHA Heartsaver CPR AED course completion eCard, valid for two years and accepted by employers nationwide.

What will the AHA CPR AED Skills Testing Cover?

The American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver CPR AED Skills Testing session evaluates your ability to perform the essential lifesaving skills learned during the online Heartsaver CPR AED course. During the hands-on evaluation, you will demonstrate the following:
  1. High-quality adult CPR
  2. Proper chest compression and ventilation techniques
  3. Effective use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
  4. Relief of choking for responsive and unresponsive adults. 
​Depending on your selected course, the skills test may also include infant CPR, infant choking relief, and two-rescuer CPR techniques. Throughout the session, you'll practice following the AHA Chain of Survival, recognizing the signs of cardiac arrest, and responding confidently during emergency situations

What is the format of the aha cpr aed skills testing?

The Heartsaver CPR/AED online certification course includes two parts:
Part 1 – A self-paced series of online training modules (1.5 to 2 hours based on experience)
Part 2 – Skills practice and test at our facility (20 to 30 minutes)
