HSI CPR INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

​The Health Safety Institute (HSI) Instructor Development Course (IDC) is designed to impart to interested candidates the knowledge and skills they need to become effective HSI Instructors. Participants develop the confidence and competence needed to teach, evaluate & certify participants in HSI CPR and Basic First Aid training programs. The IDC’s core content consists of fundamentals of presentation and skills instruction, and can be customized with provider-level program content to meet Instructor-candidates’ needs.

Prerequisites: The prerequisite to take this course is a valid provider certification in one of the following courses:
  • HSI Basic Life Support - BLS for Healthcare Providers and Professional Rescuers
  • AHA BLS Provider
  • ARC BLS Life Support for Healthcare Providers or CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer
  • NSC BLS Life Support for Health are & Professional Rescuers
  • ECSI Health Care Provider CPR (Professional)

Cost: $340.00 per student

Instructor Materials & Homework: Students will receive all instructor materials prior to class. Online learning assignments must be completed prior to the beginning of class.

After successful completion of the HSI CPR First Aid instructor training you will require to be monitored for at least two classes on your approach to training. We can offer those classes to you from our schedule or you could arrange it on your own under our guidance.
You will be affiliated with our Training center and will need to purchase your CPR Instructor kit from HSI (Will be part of your training) and equipment in order to teach.
